Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pay Rate: £12.21 - Weekly Pay.
- Shifts: 08:00 - 17:00.
- Follow all operating procedures diligently.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ensure high standards of quality, hygiene, health, and safety according to customer and company specifications.
- Adhere to cleanliness and housekeeping guidelines as per company procedures.
- Report all accidents and take preventative actions.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally at all levels.
- Record entries in the diary log and check it at the start of each shift.
- Be flexible within the role and across departments.
- Perform quality checks and implement improvements when necessary.
- Assist with follow-up on Quality Assurance and Health & Safety reports.
- Perform any other duties as required.
Specific Duties by Department
Production
- Pack food liners according to written specifications.
- Prepare samples and products for all classes based on specifications.
- Conduct temperature, quality, and expiry date checks.
- Seal flight canisters and trolleys; record numbers.
- Ensure proper marshalling of flights to dispatch bays following the assigned stowing order.
Bond
- Handle and store all incoming goods appropriately and manage stock.
- Sort and assemble bars into flights, working as a team to meet targets.
- Check trolley seals and verify with customs paperwork.
Dishwash
- Wash, sort, assemble, pack, and position aircraft equipment.
- Process and strip trolleys; deliver to relevant departments.
- Unload and sort equipment/food, ensuring delivery to correct processing areas.
Stores
- Load and unload lorries, stock shelves, and replenish equipment/food items.
- Palletize shipments accurately according to specifications.
- Perform quality and expiry date checks.
- Conduct daily stock counts.
- Manage stock rotation.
- Clean the area regularly.
