Job summary

First Call Contract Services, Ltd. is seeking a General Assistant for its food production and aviation catering operation in the Braintree area. This role offers a pay rate of £14.41 per hour with a consistent shift pattern of 5 days on and 3 days off.

Qualifications

• Must pass aviation security clearance checks including employment and address history referencing.
• Comfortable working with both Halal and Non-Halal food products.

Shift Pattern

5 Days On / 3 Days Off
07:00 AM Start

Pay Rate

£14.41 per hour

Start Date

Successful candidates can start once all employment references and background checks have been completed.

Your Role

This position requires flexibility to work across multiple departments based on operational requirements, including:

• Wash & Pack
• Make & Pack
• Pick & Pack
• Stores

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and packing airline food products
• Working on production lines, including food assembly, packing and washing operations
• Supporting warehouse and stores functions
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and quality
• Handling stock, materials and equipment as required
• Following company procedures and aviation industry standards

• Previous experience in warehouse, food production or catering is advantageous but not essential
