dnata Catering UK is seeking a General Assistant for part-time shifts at London Gatwick. You will help ensure timely arrival of catering goods for airline customers, supporting washing, sealing and paperwork duties in a busy airport environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle pork and alcohol products.
• Able to stand for long periods with good mobility.
• Able to work in a chilled environment.
• Have a basic understanding of English.

Responsibilities

• Wash area duties: general cleaning, waste removal, washing equipment to industry standards.
• Search and Seal duties: inspect goods, check stock for damages, complete paperwork.
• Duties extend beyond the listed items as required by the role.

As a General Assistant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our airline customers on time in line with various scheduling requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As a General Assistant-Part time you will be working in one of the following areas within our business:

Wash:

• General cleaning
• Waste removal
• Washing airline equipment to industry standards

Search and Seal:

• Inspecting goods ensuring there is no prohibited items
• Checking stock for any damages
• Completion of paperwork

Please note your duties will include but are not limited to the above

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

To undertake this role, you must:

• Be able to handle pork and alcohol products
• Be prepared to stand for long periods of time and have good mobility
• Be prepared to work in a chilled environment
• Have a basic understanding of English
