Job summary

dnata Catering UK is seeking General Assistants to join our Newcastle team. You will support production and catering operations to ensure timely delivery for airline customers, in line with scheduling requirements.

This seasonal, full-time role offers on-site benefits and training; duties include food prep, packaging, stock rotation, and adherence to safety standards. You must be able to stand for long periods, work in a chilled environment, and handle pork and alcohol products.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate food.
• Handle packed food goods.

• Inspect goods for prohibited items and damages and complete paperwork.

dnata Catering UK are actively seeking General Assistants to join our already successful and vibrant team at Newcastle. As a General Assistant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our airline customers on time in line with various scheduling requirements.

Pay rate: £13.20 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities

As a General Assistant you will be working in one of the following areas within our business:

• Production:
• Preparing and plating food
• Handling of packed food goods
• Packing amenity kits and flight condiments

• Equipment:
• Stacking shelves
• Rotation of stock
• Re-ordering of dry stock

• Wash:
• General cleaning
• Waste removal
• Washing airline equipment to industry standards

• Search and Seal:
• Inspecting goods ensuring there is no prohibited items
• Checking stock for any damages
• Completion of paperwork

Please note your duties will include but are not limited to the above

To undertake this role, you must:
