Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a dedicated cleaning and facilities assistant to help maintain exceptionally high cleanliness standards and create a welcoming environment for members and colleagues across our growing gym network. You will be responsible for routine cleaning, safety checks, and reporting defects to keep the club safe and well-presented.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills and a professional appearance, with a focus on delivering outstanding member service and upholding brand

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment is advantageous.
• Able to work with others as part of a team.
• Willing to maintain high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
