Everlast Gyms in Cardiff is hiring a General Assistant (Cleaning Team) to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene across facilities. This 20-hour-per-week role supports a welcoming, safe environment for members and requires attention to detail and reliability.

Full training is provided; previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential. You will work evenings and weekends as needed and join a team focused on delivering an exceptional member experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial preferred but not required; full training provided.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe chemical handling (training provided if needed).
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas including gym floors, equipment, studios, locker rooms, showers, and communal spaces.
• Sanitise and disinfect surfaces to maintain safety.
• Empty bins, replace liners, and follow waste procedures.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies; notify management when stock is low.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards at all times.
• Work with gym team to deliver seamless member experience.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends in line with gym opening hours.

General Assistant (Cleaning Team) - Cardiff, As a General Assistant (Cleaner) at Everlast Gyms, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facilities. From sparkling workout areas to spotless changing rooms, you'll create a welcoming and safe environment that keeps our members coming back. This is a 20-hour-per-week role, perfect for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about making a difference in the member experience.

• Carrying out thorough cleaning of all areas including gym floors, equipment, studios, locker rooms, showers, and communal spaces.
