Job summary

Everlast Gyms is seeking a General Assistant (Cleaner) to maintain immaculate gym floors, changing facilities and club presentation. This 20-hour-per-week role focuses on delivering a clean, safe and welcoming environment for members.

Join a team within Frasers Group, with full training, career development opportunities and a fitness-brand environment. This maternity-cover position ends May 2027, offering a stable part-time schedule and supportive colleagues.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all gym areas, including fitness spaces, studios, changing rooms, showers and communal areas.
• Ensure gym equipment, touchpoints and surfaces are sanitised and presented to a high standard.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and daily compliance checks.
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal procedures.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report stock requirements.
• Report maintenance issues and health and safety concerns promptly.
• Support the wider club team in delivering an exceptional member experience.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety at all times.

The Role

As a General Assistant (Cleaner), you'll help maintain exceptional standards across all areas of the club, ensuring members always enjoy a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all gym areas, including fitness spaces, studios, changing rooms, showers and communal areas
