Job summary

Everlast Gyms, part of Frasers Group, seeks a General Assistant (Cleaner) to uphold high cleanliness and safety across our clubs in the East Midlands. You will clean gym areas, changing rooms, showers and common spaces, ensuring touchpoints stay spotless and welcoming for members.

This 20-hour-per-week role includes comprehensive training, a free gym membership, and opportunities to progress into wider operational and customer-facing roles within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous cleaning, housekeeping or facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all gym areas, including fitness spaces, studios, changing rooms, showers and communal areas.
• Ensure gym equipment, touchpoints and surfaces are sanitised and presented to the highest standard.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and daily compliance checks.
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal procedures.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report stock requirements.
• Report maintenance issues and health and safety concerns promptly.
• Support the wider club team in delivering an exceptional member experience.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety at all times.
