Everlast Gyms is seeking a General Assistant (Cleaner) to uphold exceptional cleanliness and create a welcoming, safe environment for members across our clubs in the UK.

This 20-hour-per-week role supports gym floor and changing areas, contributes to club presentation and delivers high standards daily. Full training will be provided; maternity cover ending May 2027.

Qualificações

• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.

• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous cleaning, housekeeping or facilities experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards and safe chemical handling.
• Experience in leisure, hospitality, retail or commercial environments.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain all gym areas including changing rooms and showers.
• Sanitise touchpoints and surfaces to the highest standard.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and daily compliance checks.
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report stock requirements.
• Report maintenance issues and health and safety concerns promptly.
• Support the wider club team to deliver an exceptional member experience.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety at all times.

The Role

As a General Assistant (Cleaner), you'll help maintain exceptional standards across all areas of the club, ensuring members always enjoy a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all gym areas, including fitness spaces, studios, changing rooms, showers and communal areas
• Ensure gym equipment, touchpoints and surfaces are sanitised and presented to the highest standardComplete scheduled cleaning tasks and daily compliance checks
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal procedures
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report stock requirements
