Job summary

Klondyke is seeking a Part Time Temporary Retail Assistant for Burnside Garden Centre in the United Kingdom. The role is 20 hours per week across 4 days, including regular weekend shifts, with a temporary contract until December 2026.

You will provide excellent customer service, manage till operations, stock replenishment, and create engaging displays while supporting customers throughout their shopping experience.

We are looking for a Part Time Temporary Retail Assistant to join the team in our Burnside Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range isdependent on age.

The hours for this position are 20 hours per week over 4days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

This is a temporay role until December 2026.

The Role

As a General Retail Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.

What you will be doing as a General Retail Assistant?

• Till operation and serving customer
• Stock replenishment and merchandising across all department
• Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
• Assisting our customer across the Centre taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
