Job summary

Sodexo Group is recruiting a General Kitchen Assistant at The Ridge Primary School in Stourbridge. The role is part-time, 12.5 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks) with permanent employment and pay at £12.71 per hour.

You will help with food preparation and service, keep kitchens and dining areas clean, and support deliveries and stock. Full training is provided within a friendly team. This position offers good work-life balance and opportunities to grow within the catering team.

About the Role

As a General Kitchen Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team delivering great service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Additional Information

Term Time Only – Equated Pay
This role works 39 weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
