Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting for a Lunchtime Kitchen and Service Assistant at Senacre Wood Primary School. You will join a small team to serve meals, keep dining areas clean, and help with the final cleaning after deliveries from St John's.

The role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a school setting and values teamwork and independence. Full training will be provided, and the role offers a supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow within Sodexo's education division.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or food service is helpful but not essential.
• You will support a small team in a busy school dining environment.
• Full training will be provided and DBS checks may be required.

About the Role

Senacre Wood Primary School and become part of a friendly team supporting the school's daily lunchtime service. Working alongside another team member, you'll help serve food to pupils, maintain the dining hall and ensure the kitchen and service areas are kept clean and organised. The food will be prepared at St John's and delivered to Senacre Wood Primary School, so your focus will be on providing an efficient and welcoming service to pupils and maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the school's dining areas. You'll work as part of a small team and, once the food containers have been returned to St John's, you may be required to complete the final cleaning and close-down of the service area independently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a school environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is happy working both as part of a team and independently.

Salary Details

Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

Working Hours

This role works 38 weeks per year.
