Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking an enthusiastic General Assistant to support breakfast, lunch, snacks, and hospitality services in an education setting in the Liverpool area. The role emphasizes high standards of food safety, customer service, and teamwork.

You will work at a leading contract caterer dedicated to schools, with training opportunities and a supportive environment for growth and development in school dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, supper and hospitality according to established menus and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

• Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
• Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Keep company mandated training up to date and relevant to the role. Ideally have experience working within Education catering.
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
