Contract Type: Term-Time only, 35 working weeks + paid holiday!

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to support the day-to-day food and service delivery across the school. This role is essential in ensuring pupils, staff, and visitors receive high-quality, nutritious meals served with care, efficiency, and attention to detail. Job Description

As our Catering Assistant you will…

• Collate & deliver on all hospitality functions.
• Liaise with school teams to meet hospitality demands.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of lunch and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front and back of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Ideally have experience working within Education catering
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
