Speedy Hire PLC in Grimsby is seeking a General Assistant to keep the depot running smoothly. You will perform deliveries and/or collections, assist with loading/unloading, test equipment, manage stock, and assist customers at the hire desk.

This role offers flexible, even working patterns and a 42-hour week with a competitive annual salary. Key requirements include a driving licence, basic computer skills, strong communication, and the ability to adapt.

Role - General Assistant

Location - Grimsby

Days of work - Mon - Fri, Times - 07:30 - 17:00, 42 hours per week

Salary £29,572 Per annum, pro rata

Working in all areas of the depot, you will play a busy but key role in making sure our depot runs smoothly. On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working both independently and directly with other colleagues in any area of the depot. This can include: making deliveries and/or collections, assisting with vehicle loading/unloading, electrical testing of our equipment, stock control, or serving customers on the hire desk.
