Job summary

Moody's Analytics is seeking a Director-Product Manager to lead the GenAI product function, overseeing 2–3 Product Managers and guiding squads in building AI-powered capabilities. You will partner with strategy, clients, and cross-functional teams to set priorities and define KPIs while driving the GenAI roadmap with strong governance.

This role requires extensive product leadership in financial services or risk software, with a deep background in AI, agile methods, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Extensive product management experience in financial services or risk software.
• Leadership experience with at least 3 years managing product managers.
• Proven ability to lead multiple squads and balance strategy with execution.
• Deep understanding of generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI products.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Product Managers to ensure strong execution and professional growth
• Set and maintain a high quality bar for product management outputs, including user stories and requirements documentation
• Partner with the Director of GenAI Products to contribute to and execute the GenAI product roadmap
• Engage with strategy, business partners, and clients to validate priorities and surface new product opportunities
• Serve as the primary escalation point for Product Managers, resolving blockers and managing cross-squad dependencies
• Establish a consistent operating rhythm across squads, including planning, prioritization, and retrospectives
• Define, track, and use product KPIs to guide prioritization and continuous improvement
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across technology, design, operations, and strategy teams
