Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) intern in the UK. You will be an embedded builder, coding and deploying bespoke agentic AI solutions directly within customer environments, bridging frontier AI with production-grade systems.

You will work with high-agency engineers, tackle data readiness, integration, and state-management challenges, and provide white-glove deployment while informing Google Cloud’s future product roadmap.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS or a related field in the EMEA region.
Experience with Python and production-grade AI on cloud platforms (GCP).
Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy agentic AI workflows in customer environments.
Bridge AI products with production systems via APIs and data integration.
Design evaluation pipelines and observability for accuracy, safety, and latency.
Collaborate with customer engineers to adopt Google-grade practices.
Assist in a 13- to 17-week full-time internship in the UK starting May, June or July 2027.
