Job summary

Google Cloud is offering an internship for a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer in the UK. You will work as an embedded builder, coding and deploying agentic AI solutions within customer environments, bridging frontier AI with production-grade reality.

Ideal candidates are penultimate or final-year Master’s students in CS or related fields, with hands-on Python and cloud experience, and familiarity with multi-agent and AI pipelines. 13–17 weeks, full-time, UK-based.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in penultimate or final year of a Master’s degree in a technical field and located in the UK.
• Experience with Python or similar languages in internship or projects.
• Experience building production-grade AI solutions in cloud environments (GCP).
• Experience creating data pipelines for structured/unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, moving prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between AI products and customer environments.
• Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or requests for Engineering teams.
• Co-build with customer engineers to apply Google-grade development practices and ensure adoption.
