Job summary

Databricks is seeking an AI Engineer - FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer) to join its AI FDE team in London, UK. You will build GenAI solutions, deploy production-grade applications, and collaborate across product and engineering to influence roadmaps.

You will engage with customers, present at events, and travel every few weeks as needed to deliver value and knowledge share in GenAI, LLMOps, and ML domains.

Qualifications

• Experience building GenAI applications, including RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, and fine-tuning.
• Proven ability to deploy production-grade GenAI applications and optimizations.
• Hands-on data science experience with pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions for customer problems.
• Own production rollouts of GenAI applications.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers.
• Present at conferences and shape internal product roadmaps.
