Travel Trade Recruitment is seeking an experienced Ticketing Team Leader from a Tour Operator background to oversee the Fares & Ticketing department and lead a small team. You will manage ticketing queues, monitor GDS-based processes, and ensure accurate, timely ticketing while adapting to airline schedule changes.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on ticketing expertise with Amadeus and/or Galileo, strong organisational skills, and a proven track record of supervising a team in a travel

Formación

• Solid hands-on ticketing experience within a Tour Operator environment.
• Strong experience of ticketing and reissuing across multiple airlines.
• Excellent native GDS knowledge of Amadeus and/or Galileo.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the ticketing department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and high service standards.
• Manage all ticketing queues, including schedule changes, web, native, general and reissues, ensuring tickets are issued within deadlines.
• Monitor automated ticketing processes and resolve ticket match failures.
• Manage airline schedule changes, advising agents and customers, actioning amendments and updating back-office systems.
• Coordinate booking amendments arising from airline schedule changes, including flights, hotels and transfers where required.
• Monitor fare, fuel and tax increases, ensuring agents and clients are informed and deadlines are met.
• Support BSP ticket audits, airline refunds, E-tracker processing and investigate/dispute ADMs where necessary.
• Liaise with reservations teams, online partners and scripting providers regarding fare queries, fare loading and GDS updates.
• Monitor TINS reports and resolve discrepancies to maintain ticketing accuracy.
• Support crisis management, escalating airline disruptions and ensuring contingency procedures are followed.
• Provide out-of-hours support on a rota basis and cover operational requirements as needed.
