Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking experienced GCSE tutors to provide 1:1 Maths and English support at GCSE level. The role offers flexible, part-time hours within term time, typically 9am–3pm, with ongoing contracts and competitive pay.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of GCSE tutoring experience and a solid grasp of the Maths and English curricula. QTS is desirable but not essential; enhanced DBS on Update Service is preferred, with willingness to apply for it if needed.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum in Maths and English.
• QTS desirable but not essential for those with solid GCSE tutoring experience.

• Driving licence & vehicle access (preferred).
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting learners.

Responsibilities
