Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a QTS Tutor to deliver GCSE Maths and English tuition in Southwark on a temporary, part-time basis with flexible hours.

You will plan personalised lessons, monitor progress, and provide feedback, supporting learners with diverse needs. QTS is essential and an enhanced DBS is preferred.

This role offers right to work in the UK and the chance to contribute to student success while fitting around your schedule.

Job Title: QTS Tutor - GCSE Core
Location: Southwark
Pay Rate: 25- 35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary Part-Time Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and curriculum- aligned tuition in Maths and English up to GCSE level.
• Plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet individual learning needs.
• Support students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs.
• Monitor progress, set achievable targets, and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
• Experience teaching Maths and/or English at secondary GCSE level.

• Enhanced DBS check ( or willingness to obtain one).

Desired:

• Experience supporting students with SEN or SEMH needs.
• Background in tutoring or delivering targeted interventions.
