Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a GCSE Maths Resit Lecturer to join a well-established FE college on a full-time, ongoing basis. You will deliver high-quality GCSE Maths resit teaching to FE learners, plan lessons, and support students through their GCSE journey.

The role offers an ongoing agency placement, a competitive hourly rate, and the opportunity to work within a supportive education recruitment team.

Qualifications

Experience teaching GCSE Maths, ideally in an FE college or similar.
Strong knowledge across the GCSE Maths curriculum.
A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent.
Maths qualification at Level 3 or above.
Experience supporting learners who are resitting GCSE Maths.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Deliver GCSE Maths resit lessons to FE students.
Plan and prepare lessons aligned with GCSE Maths curriculum and awarding-body requirements.
Support learners of varying abilities, including students who may have previously struggled to achieve GCSE Maths.
Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback and targeted support.
Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment and learner progress.
Contribute to an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and curriculum teams to support learner achievement.
Follow college policies and safeguarding procedures.
