Job summary

Quantum Scholars is seeking a patient GCSE EOTAS Tutor to provide personalised, one-to-one tuition for a secondary-aged learner in Frome, Somerset. The role focuses on supporting Education Otherwise Than at School and addressing SEND/SEMH needs with flexible, engaging teaching.

The successful candidate will adapt approaches to each learner, build confidence, and help with GCSE content, revision and exam preparation. A calm, resilient attitude and commitment to safeguarding are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting secondary-aged learners with SEND/SEMH.
• Ability to deliver GCSE-level tuition in-person.
• Proven track record in one-to-one educational support.
• Understanding of EOTAS or similar non-mainstream provision.
• Calm, flexible approach and safeguarding awareness.
• Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored one-to-one GCSE tuition as part of an EOTAS provision.
• Support GCSE subjects and exam preparation as needed.
• Identify gaps and create targeted learning activities.
• Adapt teaching to learner's needs and learning style.
• Maintain records and safeguarding compliance.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and professionals.
