• Experience supporting secondary-aged learners with SEND.
• Ability to deliver GCSE-level tuition and explain concepts clearly.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, one-to-one tuition toward GCSE qualifications.
• Support learning across relevant GCSE subjects per learner needs.
• Identify gaps and create targeted learning activities.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit individual learning styles.
• Break down challenging concepts into manageable steps.
• Support revision, exam preparation and study skills development.
• Help learner build confidence, motivation and positive attitudes toward education.
• Support learners with SEMH needs, anxiety or disengagement.
• Respond calmly to challenging behaviour with positive strategies.
• Maintain professional boundaries and safeguarding procedures.
• Provide progress feedback to parents and other professionals.
