Job summary

DCV Technologies in London is seeking a Senior GCP DevOps Consultant to join a major cloud initiative on a 6‑month contract. The role requires hands-on experience across GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins and CI/CD automation.

You will design and operate scalable cloud-native platforms, manage GKE clusters, implement IaC, develop pipelines with Groovy, and support observability with Datadog or Grafana in hybrid-cloud environments.

We are looking for an experienced GCP Senior DevOps Consultant to join a major cloud technology programme in London.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GKE, Kubernetes and enterprise DevOps, with expertise in Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, CI/CD automation and cloud-native platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, automate and operate scalable cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform
• Manage and support GKE/Kubernetes clusters and workloads
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
• Develop automation using Python and Bash/Shell scripting
• Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, including scripted pipelines using Groovy
• Manage containerised deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
• Work with GCP services including GKE, MIGs, CloudSQL and Memorystore
• Automate build, deployment, security scanning and tooling integrations
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure and deployment issues
• Support monitoring and observability integrations using tools such as Datadog, Grafana and AppDynamics
• Work across public and hybrid-cloud environments, including networking and firewall requirements
