Job summary

DCV Technologies in London is seeking an experienced GCP Senior DevOps Consultant to join a major cloud programme on a hybrid basis. You will design, automate and operate scalable cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform, manage GKE clusters and CI/CD pipelines, and implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible.

You'll work across public and hybrid environments, integrating security scanning and observability tools, and troubleshoot pipelines and deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GCP and Kubernetes in production.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.
• IaC using Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of security scanning and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate and operate scalable cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform.
• Manage and support GKE/Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop automation using Python and Bash/Shell scripting.
• Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, including scripted Groovy.
• Manage containerised deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Work with GCP services such as GKE, MIGs, CloudSQL and Memorystore.
• Automate build, deployment, security scanning and tooling integrations.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Support monitoring and observability integrations with Datadog, Grafana, AppDynamics.
• Work across public and hybrid-cloud environments, including networking and firewall requirements.
