Job summary

LA International is seeking a GCP Senior DevOps Consultant for a 6-month hybrid role in London, with roughly two onsite days per week. The engagement offers market-rate daily pay via umbrella arrangements on a major cloud-native program.

The role focuses on designing, automating and operating cloud platforms on GCP, using GKE, Terraform and Ansible, while leading CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices across teams.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash scripting.
• Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, automation and operation of scalable cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud.
• Manage enterprise CI/CD ecosystems with Jenkins, Docker, Helm and Git-based workflows.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and operations teams to optimize reliability and performance across hybrid/public clouds.
• Implement DevSecOps practices and integrate quality/security scanning tools into pipelines.
