Job summary

Oliver Bernard is seeking a strong GCP and Platform Engineer to join a leading FinTech in London with flexible remote options. You will support and evolve cloud solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and automated infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability and security.

Ideal candidates have DevOps/SRE/Cloud Engineering experience, deep GCP knowledge (Data Proc, Data Flow, BigQuery) and hands-on IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet). CI/CD with Jenkins and familiarity with Hadoop are a plus.

Qualifications

{This role requires experience in DevOps, SRE or Cloud Engineering.
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Data Proc, Data Flow, BigQuery).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet.
Experience with Kubernetes containers; Docker is a plus.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
Big Data/Hadoop experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support and evolve the Cloud solution, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, automated infrastructure and release engineering.
Manage platforms to ensure reliability, scalability and security.
Develop and implement systems enhancements, design new automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Research and evaluate new tools to improve automation and efficiency.
Be part of a central team delivering complex projects through agile methods.
