Job summary

Vector Resourcing Ltd. is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to own and develop its established Google Cloud Platform environment. This hands-on role combines core GCP platform engineering with the development of scalable, secure AI and agentic capabilities.

You will evolve the GCP/GKE platform, implement IaC and CI/CD, drive security, resilience and cost optimisation, and support governance and best practices for AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
• Proven experience with GKE and modern cloud/platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, GitOps and CI/CD.
• Experience of cloud monitoring, security and cost optimisation/FinOps.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the GCP/GKE platform, including integrations, identity and security.
• Improve platform capabilities using Infrastructure as Code, GitOps and CI/CD.
• Drive security, resilience, performance, lifecycle management and cost optimisation.
• Support AI and agentic technology adoption, including governance and engineering best practice.
