Job summary

Lloyds is seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong GCP experience to build end-to-end infrastructure for engineering teams. You'll be shaping automated deployment patterns, securing workloads and enabling developer productivity across analytics, AI/ML and databases.

You'll collaborate with engineering leads and security partners, own features to delivery, and implement policy-as-code guardrails while advancing backstage templates and golden paths.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at scale.
• Hands-on CI/CD design using GitHub Actions, Harness or equivalent.
• Proven Platform Engineering experience delivering on GCP.
• Proficiency in Python, Go or Bash.
• Understanding of IaC and policy as code.
• Experience lifecycle management of cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure GCP infrastructure foundations.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Harness.
• Create reusable Terraform modules and deployment patterns.
• Implement policy-as-code guardrails and security alignment.
• Collaborate with security, risk, architecture and delivery teams.
• Mentor engineers and participate in Agile ceremonies.
