Job summary

Intuition IT Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced GCP Platform Administrator to design, implement, and operate scalable Google Cloud infrastructure.

You will provision resources, configure services, and help ensure security and reliability across environments. You will work with DevOps, developers, and architects to support CI/CD pipelines, IaC tooling (Terraform or equivalent), and ongoing platform upgrades, monitoring, and optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience as a GCP Platform Administrator, GCP Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role.
• Proven experience setting up new components, services, and infrastructure from scratch on GCP.
• Good knowledge of core GCP services, including Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Knowledge of Linux administration, networking, DNS, routing, and Firewall configuration.
• Experience with Scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of cloud security, access management, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and deploy new components and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Provision and manage GCP infrastructure, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud SQL, and IAM.
• Configure networking, Firewall rules, service accounts, permissions, and security policies.
• Build and maintain cloud environments across development, testing, staging, and production.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or similar tools.
• Manage cloud resources, monitor platform performance, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Implement security best practices, access controls, backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps, development, and architecture teams.
• Perform platform upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and cost optimisation.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
