Job summary

Revoco is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a strategic transformation for a leading bank, migrating an SAS-based Credit Risk estate onto Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role requires strong business analysis and banking domain expertise, with 2-3 days onsite per week in a hybrid pattern.

You will document current analytics processes, translate business needs into technical requirements, and support GCP architects and engineers in rebuilding capabilities, including

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of Credit Risk analytics and reporting.
• Experience supporting data analytics, cloud migration or platform transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior business and risk stakeholders.
• Experience producing process maps, workflows, requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into actionable requirements for technical teams.
• Working knowledge of data concepts including data sources, lineage, processing and reporting outputs.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments using JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across blended teams comprising client stakeholders, risk analysts and technical delivery teams.
• Onsite availability to work in Halifax weekly.
• Experience with Lloyds Banking Group and/or LeMans.
• Knowledge of SAS analytics in Credit Risk.
• Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery and Looker.
• Experience with offshore/multi-vendor delivery environments.
• Exposure to AI, conversational analytics or self-service reporting use cases.
• Basic SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Discovery and Stakeholder Engagement: Lead workshops/interviews with business and Credit Risk users to map SAS analytics and reporting.
• Document customer journeys and use cases; maintain inventory of risks and data dependencies.
• Build relationships across business, risk, data and technology teams.
• Prioritise journeys based on value, risk and complexity.
