Job summary

Citizens Advice Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Gateway Assessor to be the first point of contact for clients, using listening and questioning to understand issues and provide information, signposting and referrals. You’ll work across face-to-face, telephone, webchat and email channels, and contribute to team rotas and KPIs.

You will join a busy gateway assessment team in a hybrid setup from Leeds City Centre Hub, delivering high-quality advice with empathy to potentially vulnerable clients and

• Excellent listening and questioning skills to assess client needs.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Team player contributing to rota, targets and KPIs.
• Experience working with vulnerable clients is beneficial.
