Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan is seeking a reliable Gateman / Traffic Marshal for a long-term Cirencester project. You will manage site access, marshal traffic and assist with vehicle movements on a busy site in Gloucestershire.

The role requires a valid Traffic Marshal or Banksman ticket and prior experience as gateman or banksman. You will work on a site with a strong safety culture and a requirement for punctuality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Traffic Marshal or Banksman ticket required.
• Previous gateman/banksman experience preferred.
• Strong communication and responsible attitude required.
• Reliability, punctuality and strong health and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Manage site access and control vehicles entering and leaving the site.
• Direct delivery vehicles and assist with safe vehicle movements.
• Carry out traffic marshalling and banksman duties to protect pedestrians and site personnel.
• Operate the wheel-washing area to help keep vehicles and surrounding roads clean.
• Monitor site gates and maintain site security.
• Coordinate deliveries and liaise with site management.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
