Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an Experienced Gatehouse Security Officer to help ensure the safety and security of our properties and sites. You will join our Pinnacle Workplace Security Team on a prestigious Chemical Factory site in Stalybridge SK15.

The role involves managing the gatehouse, monitoring premises, responding to incidents and maintaining detailed reports. The position is full-time with a 4-on, 4-off rolling rota, 12-hour day shifts from 5 am to 5 pm, including weekends and bank

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence.
• Experience working in a gatehouse.
• Basic IT applications and digital devices.
• Access to own transport due to location & shift patterns.
• Strong, clear communicator using Radio Control.
• Must be able to use and understand the Phonetic Alphabet.
• Full 5-year UK checkable work history.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, logging all security-related activities and occurrences.
• Test alarms and conduct various meter readings.
