Job summary

TDRS Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Gate Engineer for a multinational automatic door manufacturer in the South East of England. You will service, maintain, and repair gate products to keep pace with client demand.

This role offers a starting rate up to £21 per hour, a commission scheme, and full training and development opportunities. On-site visits and field-based work with company van, tools, and tablet provided.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing gate systems.
• Experience working on a range of manufacturer brands.
• CSCS Card held.

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP45000 per annum

A multinational automatic door manufacturer is currently going through a period of sustained growth, and therefore is looking to expand its engineering team. The business is looking to increase its headcount by bringing in a Gate Engineer in the South East of England to help keep up with client demand due to a surge in contracts. The package includes a starting rate of up to £21 per hour, a lucrative commission scheme, as well as training and development opportunities.

As a Gate Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of gate products.
• Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.
• Basic electrical wiring.
• Adhering to industry standards such as GateSafe and DHF.
• Providing customers with advice and identifying the best solution to their individual requirement.

The successful Gate Engineer will have:

• Experience working on a range of manufacturer brands.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of gate systems.
• Experience working on related products such as automatic doors would be beneficial
• A CSCS Card.

In return, you will receive a remuneration package which includes:

• Starting rate of up to £21 per hour depending on experience and location
• Top earners bringing in over £70,000 per annum
• Home-based, door to door pay
• Premium overtime rates at 1.5 x after 9.5 hours per day, travel time is considered overtime
• Saturdays paid at 1.5. Sundays paid at 2.0
• Commission scheme (Average earnings £3,000 per year)
• All power tools and hand tools provided
