Job summary

Leeds College of Building is seeking a Learning Facilitator in Gas to support student groups and provide technical assistance in workshop and machinery maintenance. You will demonstrate basic craft techniques and help students achieve their qualifications with clear instruction.

A focus on safety and equipment readiness is essential. The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, industrial experience, and prior educational/training exposure.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant trade.
• Experience in education/training is desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with young people and adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support groups of students and provide technical support in machinery and workshop upkeep.
• Carry out demonstrations for students and provide instruction on basic craft techniques.
• Maintain, service, and prepare machines and equipment per health and safety requirements.
