Job summary

BDR Thermea Group’s Baxi brand is seeking a Gas Engineer for the Bournemouth area to deliver field service, maintenance, and repair across domestic and commercial heating systems. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and commission new installations while upholding Gas Safe regulations and safety standards.

The role operates on annualised hours with a 41.5-hour week and includes weekend and bank holiday work, a company van with fuel card, and a contributory pension scheme.

Qualifications

Gas boiler servicing, fault finding, and repairs experience.
ACS Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1) or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong health & safety knowledge and Gas Safe regulations.
Excellent customer service and clear communication.
Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

Service, maintain, and repair domestic and commercial heating appliances to standards.
Diagnose faults and deliver first-time fixes where possible.
Commission new installations and service/update existing systems.
Complete digital job reports and documentation.
Manage daily schedule and travel within Bournemouth region.
Uphold Gas Safe and company safety policies.
