Job summary

Service Service is recruiting an experienced Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join our field team covering NR, CO, CB and IP postcode areas including Norwich.

You will service, maintain and repair domestic heating systems, diagnose faults and perform first-time fixes while ensuring safety checks and proper documentation. A Full UK driving licence and Gas Safe qualifications are required, with opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and breakdowns.
• Current ACS and relevant domestic gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1, CMDDA1)
• Water Regulations (WREG) qualification
• Full UK driving licence

£37,000 - £42,000 per annum

Service Service is recruiting for experienced Gas Service & Breakdown Engineers to join a well-established organisation covering multiple areas across East Anglia.

This is a field-based role carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on domestic heating systems. You will work independently across a range of properties, managing both planned and reactive work while providing a professional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair domestic heating systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective first-time fixes
• Complete safety checks, certification and accurate documentation
• Provide excellent customer service during every visit
• Participate in an on-call rota for emergency repairs
• Manage vehicle stock, materials and equipment
• Work safely and in line with Gas Safe and company procedures

About You

• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and breakdowns
• Current ACS and relevant domestic gas qualifications
• CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1 and CMDDA1

• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
