Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking a qualified Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. You will service, diagnose and repair gas systems and appliances for our clients, ensuring safety and efficiency on every site.

The role offers a company van, fuel card, and PDA tablet, with unlimited overtime and a guaranteed local working radius. Salary starts at £40,000 with OTE £60,000.

Qualifications

• Gas engineer with CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 qualifications.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• DBS check-clean disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair gas systems and appliances including boilers, heaters and cookers.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure efficiency and safety standards.

We are currently seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join our team on a PAYE basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing gas systems and appliances for our clients .

Responsibilities:

• Service, Diagnose, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems are working efficiently and meet safety standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
• Maintain good communication with clients and team members

Requirements:

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within the social housing sector
• Knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Core gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
• Full UK driving license
• Clean DBS
