Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking a qualified Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to service, diagnose, and repair gas systems for social housing clients within a local radius around Watford.

The role requires CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 certifications, a full UK driving license, and a clean DBS. The position offers a permanent contract with a company van and overtime opportunities in a designated local area.

Qualifications

• Must have CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 certifications.
• At least 3 years’ experience in gas engineering within social housing.
• Full UK driving license and clean DBS.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose, and repair gas systems and appliances.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure efficient, safe operation.
• Diagnose faults and implement timely repairs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and communicate with clients.

Job Title: Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer

Location: WD / Borehamwood / surrounding work areas

Salary: £40,000

OTE £60,000

Renewables training also provided, bonus to already have it.

Job Type: Permanent

We are currently seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join our team on a PAYE basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing gas systems and appliances for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Service, Diagnose, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems are working efficiently and meet safety standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
• Maintain good communication with clients and team members

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the social housing sector
• Knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Core gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
• Full UK driving license
• Clean DBS
