Job summary

Center Parcs is seeking a Gas Safe Engineer to maintain heating systems across guest accommodation and village buildings. You will attend callouts, perform preventative maintenance, and deliver excellent customer service in a busy leisure environment.

The role requires a Gas Safe qualification and an Engineering NVQ/SVQ (L2-3), plus a full driving licence. Working hours include evenings and weekends, with a guaranteed 160 hours over 4 weeks and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• NVQ or SVQ in Engineering Maintenance and Installation in Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation Level 2 & 3.
• Previous trade experience (electrical or mechanical) is required.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Gas Safe Engineer

Longleat Forest | Circa £42,200per annum

You will be responsible for attending callouts and maintaining heating systems across guest accommodation and village buildings.You'll ensure timely repairs, preventative maintenance and deliver excellent customer service.

Your working hours

• Full-time contract, shifts fall between 8:00am and 10:00pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 160 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes evenings and alternate weekends
• You will be 'on call' during late shifts to handle any out-of-hours issues

About you

• NVQ or SVQ in Engineering Maintenance and Installation in Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation Level 2 & 3 and a current gas safe qualification
• Previous trade experience (electrical or mechanical)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Full driving licence (held for a minimum of 6 months)
