Job summary

AO is seeking a dedicated Gas Engineer to join their team in Newport. In this role, you will install gas and electrical products in customers' homes, ensuring safety and quality. You’ll enjoy a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern with a competitive income, including performance bonuses and overtime opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving licence, CCN1 & CKR1 qualifications, and experience in gas installations. AO offers extensive training, benefits, and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

As an AO Gas Engineer, you’ll head out on the road with one of our drivers, visiting customers in their homes and bringing their appliances to life. You’ll be installing gas and electrical products safely and efficiently—no repairs, no guesswork. You will deliver high-quality installs and top-notch customer service, every single time.

You’ll Need To Have

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• CCN1 & CKR1 qualifications
• To be over 21 for insurance purposes
• At least 1 year’s experience in gas installations

Nice To Have

• Some experience installing electrical appliances (training provided to get you up to speed)
