Job summary

AO Gas Engineer role involves traveling to customer homes to install gas and electrical products safely and efficiently, delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding service. You’ll work with a driver team to complete visits, maintain Gas Safe compliance, and ensure customer satisfaction.

The position offers a 4-on/4-off shift pattern with paid fuel in a company van, on-call support, and ongoing training opportunities to support career growth within AO.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• CCN1 & CKR1 qualifications.
• Over 21 for insurance purposes.
• At least 1 year experience in gas installations.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in their homes to install gas and electrical products safely and efficiently.
• Ensure high-quality installs and excellent customer service.
• Follow safety and Gas Safe procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with drivers to coordinate on-site visits.

As an AO Gas Engineer, you'll head out on the road with one of our drivers, visiting customers in their homes and bringing their appliances to life. You'll be installing gas and electrical products safely and efficiently — no repairs, no guesswork. Just high-quality installs and top‑notch customer service, every single time

A Few Things About You:

You’ll need to have:

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• CCN1 & CKR1 qualifications
• To be over 21 for insurance purposes
• At least 1 years' experience in gas installations

It’d be great if you also have:

• Some experience installing electrical appliances (but don't worry — we'll give you all the training you need to get up to speed)
