Job summary

A leading home services company in Crewe is seeking a Gas Engineer to perform safe installations of gas appliances in customers’ homes. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from £34,800 to £36,800 per annum, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and multiple benefits including a pension scheme and healthcare cashback. Candidates must hold a valid Gas Safe registration and possess at least one year of installation experience. Training is provided for electrical competence.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Gas Safe register qualification (CCN1 & CKR1).
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in gas installations.
• Must be over the age of 21 for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers’ homes to install gas appliances.
• Provide high-quality installations without performing repairs.
• Deliver excellent customer service during installations.

Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing

As a Gas Engineer at AO, you’ll team up with one of our drivers to visit customers’ homes and install gas appliances and electrical products. No repairs—just safe, high‑quality installs and brilliant customer service, every time.

Essential

A Few Things About You

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• CCN1 & CKR1
• To be over the age of 21 for insurance purposes
• At least 1 year of experience within gas installations

Desirable

• Some experience in electrical appliance installation is ideal, but we’ll provide training to make you electrically competent.
