Job summary

Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, is hiring a Gas Engineer for service and repair work in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The role covers servicing, repairs and basic pipe installations, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service in customers' homes.

You should be ACS qualified with CCN1/CKR1/HTR1/CEN1 or CENWAT, MET1, LPG and CPA1, plus a full driving licence and DBS clearance. The position is permanent, full-time, with a mobile daily remit.

Qualifications

• ACS qualifications including CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CEN1 (or CENWAT), MET1, LPG and CPA1.
• Full current valid driving licence is essential as this is a mobile role.
• DBS check required due to working in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor servicing, full services and repairs to boilers.
• Carry out basic pipe installations and ensure works are right first time.
• Provide excellent customer service while working in customers' homes.

Platform Property Care have a great opportunity for a Gas Engineer Service & Repair based in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire to join our award- winning Heating Team.

From carrying out minor servicing, full services, and repairs to basic pipe installations, we need you to help us keep our homes up to temperature.

We want somebody who can:

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.

Ideally you will have

• Sound experience and be ACS qualified and have CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CEN1 (or CENWAT), MET1, LPG and CPA1. If you do not hold all these please contact us as we may be able to support applications from newly qualified Gas Engineers for a Service only role.
• You will be a good communicator and can work well with customers and other trades.
• Full current valid driving Licence essential as this is a mobile role
• As you will be working in our customers' homes you would also require a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn up to £1500 per annum from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime. This role will require being on the out of hours rota.

This is a mobile role covering Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire so you will need to live in this area.
