Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to join a mobile maintenance team covering Leeds and surrounding areas. You will service, fault-find, and repair domestic and commercial gas systems, while maintaining high safety standards and providing excellent customer service.

Qualified Gas Safe engineer with CCN1/CENWAT/CKR1/HTR1 and commercial gas qualifications is required. A full UK driving licence is essential, and a company vehicle with fuel card is provided.

• Valid Domestic Gas Safe qualifications, including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1.
• Valid Commercial Gas Safe qualification, including COCN1 or CODNCO1.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Proven experience across domestic properties and commercial facilities.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of gas safety regulations and health and safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and maintenance of gas appliances.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on boilers and heating systems.
• Undertake plumbing maintenance, pipework adaptations and system modifications.
• Carry out gas safety checks and issue CP12/CP17 certificates.
• Maintain heating systems, pumps, and control valves.
• Complete maintenance in line with contractual requirements.
• Prepare job reports and compliance documentation using company tools.
• Deliver excellent customer service with safety and compliance in focus.

Job DescriptionGas Engineer – North West Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire and surrounding areas Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £41,500 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to join a growing mobile maintenance team covering Leeds and the surrounding areas. Working across both domestic and commercial environments, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive fault-finding, repairs and small mechanical installation works. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified, Gas Safe registered engineer looking for a stable, permanent position with regular overtime opportunities, ongoing training and clear career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and maintenance of domestic and commercial gas appliances.
• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs on domestic boilers and light commercial heating systems.
• Undertake domestic and commercial plumbing maintenance, pipework adaptations and system modifications.
• Complete gas safety checks and issue electronic landlord and commercial gas safety certificates, including CP12 and CP17.
• Maintain heating systems, pumps, pressurisation units and control valves.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance in line with contractual requirements.
• Complete job reports, service records and compliance documentation using a company-provided tablet or PDA.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of health, safety and Gas Safe compliance.

Essential Requirements

• Valid Domestic Gas Safe qualifications , including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1.
• Valid Commercial Gas Safe qualification , including COCN1 or CODNCO1.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Proven experience working across both domestic properties and commercial facilities.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of gas safety regulations, maintenance procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently while delivering a professional service to customers.

Desirable Qualifications

• Testing and purging qualifications (UP1 / UP1A).
• G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems qualification.
• Basic electrical competence, including safe isolation procedures and controls wiring.
• Valid CSCS, ECS, IPAF or PASMA cards.
