Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a qualified Gas Engineer with domestic and commercial experience to join our Hertfordshire-based heating and HVAC team. You will service, repair and install gas systems across domestic and commercial sites, ensuring safety standards and compliance.

This full-time PAYE role offers a salary of £50,000–£55,000 plus benefits. Based in West/North-West London or surrounding areas, you will travel to customer sites with no Central London work.

An opportunity has arisen for a Gas Engineer to join a heating and HVAC company based in Hertfordshire, providing services to domestic and commercial customers.

Location: the ideal candidates will be based in West/North-West London, Hertfordshire, or surrounding areas. Engineers travel directly from home to customer sites, with no Central London work required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing and installing domestic and commercial gas systems, identifying faults and carrying out relevant maintenance work.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a basic salary of £50,000–£55,000, negotiable for the right candidate, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair domestic and commercial gas heating systems.
• Install and commission domestic and commercial boilers.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on heating systems and associated controls.
• Undertake planned maintenance, breakdown work and remedial repairs, including on commercial plant room equipment.
• Carry out gas safety checks, testing and certification, and document any identified issues.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Ideally, experience working in commercial plant rooms.
