Job summary

Sureserve Group in Manchester is seeking a skilled heating technician to ensure domestic heating and hot water systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably across our regional portfolio. You’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs and planned maintenance, and deliver a high standard of workmanship with excellent customer service at every visit.

This permanent role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Experience in domestic gas maintenance.
• Knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Professional, friendly attitude with ability to build relationships with clients and tenants.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance works on domestic properties across the region.
• Ensure high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing paperwork electronically and manually.
